Kindle: Which is for me?

Here are the various Kindle models and their characteristics, to decide if any of them fits what you're looking for.

Kindle

The cheapest in the market, has a 6 inch screen with electronic ink technology for easy visibility in the sun, 2GB of storage for books and Wi-Fi connectivity to download up to 1,400 books and experimental Internet browser. Its battery lasts up to one month per recharge.

Kindle Touch

A more modern version, with 6-inch screen with electronic ink and multitouch interface, which for many is more comfortable. It has 4GB of storage for books and there are versions with Wi-Fi and free unlimited 3G. Its battery lasts up to two months.

Kindle Keyboard

It features the same 6-inch screen and e-ink technology, but instead of touch, has a full keyboard for those who prefer the physical keyboard. The battery life is also two months.
Both versions (with and without free 3G connectivity)

Kindle DX

If all you need is a larger screen, the Kindle DX has a 9.7 inch. It also has a full QWERTY keyboard and 4GB storage. The downside is that your battery lasts considerably less, up to three weeks. Has free 3G but no Wi-Fi.

Kindle Fire

It is a completely different from the rest of the Kindles. Its screen is 7 inches and color, so you do not have e-ink. On the other hand, has an operating system is Android, modified for the device that can play music and videos, Amazon Silk browser plus some accessible apps designed for this tablet.
It has Wi-Fi connectivity but no 3G and its battery lasts up to eight hours.

And you why would you use your Kindle? Have you convinced any of these options? Do you prefer a tablet or read your books on paper?
